“Unitopia have just completed recording and mastering their 3rd album titled “Artificial”. It is a 10 track concept album based on the themes of artificial intelligence, design and behaviour, consolidating Unitopia’sposition as one of the most exciting progressive rock acts to emerge in the last 10 years.”
Review:
Today at Nightspirit Webzine, we are reviewing InsideOut Music recording artist Unitopia’s newest release “Artificial World”. A top notch album, for those looking for a softer, more themed album. This album comes based on the themes of artificial intelligence. Its a rather smooth album, strikes me more of a soft rock album more than a progressive act, unfortunately the use of the orchestra kind of sways me in this direction. Listening to the album, I almost get this “walking in the park on a Sunday afternoon” feeling, which is a nice change of tastes in a more positive direction. Well recorded and mixed, the sound is top-notch. Constant slow BPMs makes this album something to hit at every emotion in your general system. Also of note, there are a few moments of funk, which are just wow. This album is full of all sorts of elements and feelings, which helps this album move forward and keep the listener wondering what shall happen next. A nice use of sound samples leads me to believe this could be a movie soundtrack album at the very least.
So in conclusion, a phenomenal job, by a phenomenal band. I recommend this to anyone looking for something more than just your regular progressive band, this is definitely it. Keep up the great work. And I hope to hear more from you in the not too distant future.
